On August 2nd, 2027, a total solar eclipse will cast its shadow over the Edfu Area, Nile Valley — one of the most sacred sites on earth. Over 5 minutes of totality. A once-in-a-lifetime alignment of sky and civilization.
5 minutes, 33 seconds of totality · Intimate viewing near Edfu, away from the crowds
Astronomers call the 2027 total solar eclipse one of the longest and most spectacular of the century. The path of totality cuts directly over the Nile Valley, passing across Luxor and the West Bank — home to the Edfu Area, Nile Valley, Karnak Temple, and the monuments of the greatest pharaohs who ever lived.
To watch the sky go dark over a civilization that worshipped the sun — that built temples aligned to its light — is not just a natural phenomenon. It is a moment that exists at the intersection of science, history, and the sacred.
Ikadolly has designed a journey worthy of this moment. Eleven nights, four destinations, a exclusive Ikadolly charter dahabeya on the Nile, and a front-row seat to the most extraordinary sky event of our lifetime.
Every detail of this journey has been designed to build toward totality — and to give you the full splendor of Egypt along the way.
